RULES NO ENTRY FEE
Classes open to boys and girls 14 years of age and under. Pets must belong to the exhibitor’s family.
Animals must be on a leash or caged. Pets may not exceed 200 lbs.
Children must be able to control their pet without the aid of a parent on stage.
Prizes: 1st, $4.00; 2nd, $3.75; 3rd, $3.50; 4th, $3.25; 5th, $3.00.
Merit Ribbons given to all other Entries.
Gift Bags supplied by Settler’s Feed Supplies in Sheffield, ON
Class 1- Fancy Turnout A - Dog; B - Cat; C - any other Pet.
SPECIAL: $10 1st place prize for winner in A, B & C. Special Prize in Memory of Harold Gairdiner, Pet Show founding member, presented by his family.
Class 2- Most colourful pet.
Class 3- Obstacle course for dogs - 3 pylons
Class 4- Your Pet on Wheels, any variety. Mr. Edward R. Biddle Trophy to be presented.
Class 5- Rabbit with largest feet. Mr. Paul Biddle trophy to be presented.
Class 6- Master most resembling his/her Pet without costumes.
Class 7- Best Performance, Any Pet. Trophy presented to Pet displaying Best Performance by Mr. And Mrs. Wm. Hinrichs.
Class 8- Best Pair of “Look-A-Like” Animals or Fowl.
Class 9- The largest cat. The Hudson Trophy to be presented.
Class 10- Rockton Fair Mascot (Burgundy & Gold Colours). Special Prize in Memory of Torie, the Jack Russell presented by the Graham Family.
Class 11- Best Pure Bred Adult Dog. A-Small B-Large (Papers not required).
SPECIAL: GRAND CHAMPION PET - All first prize winners are eligible.
Trophy donated by Ken Sheppard family. To be competed for annually. To be held by winner for one year. No previous winners are eligible.
Trophies won will be presented at Awards Night in November.
Free doughnuts from Tim Hortons will be given to all exhibitors at end of show.
