RULES AND REGULATIONS
PLEASE NOTE THE RULES AND REGULATIONS STARTING ON PAGE #13, IN PARTICULAR RULE #1 UNDER EXHIBITOR FEES AND RULES #5, #6 & #7 UNDER “POWERS OF SOCIETY”
1. All exhibits must be owned and registered in the name of the exhibitor.
Definition of an Entry - All registered Sheep whether owned by one person or by more than one person (individually or jointly) which are maintained on one farm or breeding unit, are considered to be the production of one farm or breeding unit. Therefore, only one entry per class is eligible from such farm or breeding unit, unless otherwise authorized by the Fair in accordance with No. 2 of Rules and Regulations below.
2. In the Breeding Classes: Only one entry per class is eligible from such farm or breeding unit, except an exhibitor may show two entries per class in a maximum of two classes.
3. If less than three exhibitors and 18 animals in any one Section the Committee in Charge has the right to change the Breed to an open group class at full prize money. Animals may only be shown in one Section.
4. Sheep must not be removed from pens before 5 p.m. Monday.
5. Fair Directors reserve the right to reject any flock for health reasons on Veterinary inspection.
6. Exhibitor only allowed to show maximum of 2 Breeds.
7. Hat Band with Exhibitor Numbers are supplied & must be used in ring.

Classes
1. Ewe – Yearling (3 pair of temporary incisors must be in place). Must be born and bred in Canada.
2. Ewe – (First pair of temporary incisors must be in place). Born the property of the exhibitor.
Champion Ewe and Reserve Champion Ewe - Rosettes
3. Ram – Yearling (3 pair of temporary incisors must be in place).
4. Ram – (First pair of temporary incisors must be in place). Born the property of the exhibitor.
Champion Ram and Reserve Champion Ram - Rosettes
5. Get of Sire – (Born the property of the exhibitor). A group of three animals, first pair of temporary incisors must be in place, by the same sire. Both sexes may be represented.
6. Breeder’s Flock – Group of 4 animals - both sexes to be represented.
The registration certificate for each respective animal must show the exhibitor as breeder and as owner - in both cases whether as an individual or in partnership.
Each animal must have been exhibited in one of the above Classes.
All of the animals must be from one farm or breeding unit as specified in the “Definition of an Entry”.
All animals in the group to be of one breed.
SPECIAL – $25.00 Cash Award by Andy McLaughlin for the
GRAND CHAMPION RAM – Grand Champion of the Show.
SPECIAL – TROPHY by Lloyd & Betty Deeks (Lyndee Acres) for the GRAND CHAMPION EWE – Grand Champion of the Show.
Prize Money in Sections 25 to 31: $45; $40; $35; $30; $25; $20; $15; $15 to all entries.
