Farm & Home Hall to Temporarily Closed for Renovations
The Rockton Agricultural Society is pleased to announce that the Farm & Home Hall will be closed from November 11, 2024, until the end of the year to undergo significant renovations. These much-needed improvements have been made possible through the generous support of the Ontario Trillium Foundation, which has awarded a $134,000 grant to enhance the facility’s safety, comfort, and longevity.
The renovation project will include:
A new ceiling to improve insulation and acoustics
A durable, non-slip epoxy floor for enhanced safety
New ovens in the kitchen to better serve community events
An accessibility ramp leading into the Agridome to ensure inclusivity
New tables to accommodate gatherings more effectively
These upgrades will help preserve the Farm & Home Hall as a welcoming and functional space for our community for years to come.
We extend our sincere gratitude to the Ontario Trillium Foundation for their investment in our community and their commitment to fostering safe and accessible spaces for all.
